Alaska Telephone Association (ATA) is your advocacy organization supporting telecommunications in Alaska.  ATA conferences are a great forum to talk about current issues and successes within the telecom industry.  Your sponsorship of these events allows ATA to host top-ranked speakers and provide in depth discussions and networking opportunities to Alaska carriers and suppliers. Please consider a sponsorship package for the upcoming 2020 Annual Meeting.  More information will become available closer to the event. If you have questions or suggestions, please contact Shari at (907) 563-4000 or at showalter@alaskatel.org.

Fairbanks can be reached by car, plane or Alaska Railroad train.  The drive from Anchorage to Fairbanks takes 7 - 8 hours. Yes, that’s a long road trip, but most definitely worth it. There is a lot to do along the Parks Highway between Anchorage and Fairbanks. Check out more information at http://www.alaska.org/guide/parks-highway.
A fun way to travel to Fairbanks from Anchorage is by train. You may even want to stop at Denali National Park to see the largest peak in Northern America. Visit http://www.alaska.org/guide/anchorage-to-valdez to learn more about what sites you would see along the train ride. Information about railroad travel is at https://www.alaskarailroad.com/travel-planning/destinations.
Flying from Anchorage to Fairbanks is a 55 min flight which skirts the edges of Denali National Park. On a clear day, watch for great views of Denali out your window. You can fly on Alaska Airlines from Anchorage or Seattle, or take a regional air carrier Ravn Alaska to Fairbanks from Anchorage.

The attire for ATA conferences is business casual.  Our closing dinner will be hosted outside (weather permitting) and dress for that event is casual, as is the opening reception.  We suggest bringing lots of layers as the weather can be unpredictable.  Rain gear and good walking shoes are recommended in Alaska.
